This will be an event to celebrate and empower Zerqa Abid and other women as they step up to serve the community as elected officials. Through our donations, endorsements and volunteer hours, we will set Zerqa up for a successful campaign and road to victory.

Zerqa Abid is a small business owner, an award-winning non-profit leader, and an internationally recognized woman rights advocate. In the last 16 years, Zerqa has served more than 250,000 Ohioans and has saved thousands of children from hunger, drugs, gangs, violence, and human trafficking. She has built safe neighborhoods. In Washington, she will fight for social, economic, and environmental justice. She will be protecting a woman’s right to choose. She is running for Ohio’s 15th Congressional District against Mike Carey, a coal lobbyist endorsed by Donald Trump.
